This British owned private Spanish villa for rent is in a quiet, secure, small (10), exclusive gated development in Sitio de Calahonda, Costa del Sol, Spain. The villa for rent shares a landscaped central area, shaded by palm trees, containing a swimming pool. The villa sleeps 6 and is on 2 levels. From Malaga Airport, it is only 20 miles (30Km) along the coast road (N340) towards Gibralter, taking the turn inland at Sitio de Calahonda and first left after about 1Km. The villa is about 200 metres on the left. Here is a sketch showing the route from the N340 to the villa.

On the ground floor is a spacious living and dining area with squashy sofas and satellite television (including BBC1, BBC2, BBC4. Bring your own card and you could get some more UK channels). Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom adjacent to a shower room with hand basin and w.c. The separate kitchen is well equipped including washing machine, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster. Reached via a spiral staircase, there are two further bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with a double bed, which share a roof terrace. There is also a second roof terrace accessible from the upstairs landing off which is a shower/bathroom with WC, hand basin and bidet. A delightful feature is the al fresco patio dining area with loungers, table and a barbecue. Secure parking on the drive.

This Spanish holiday villa rental is the perfect base for a restful holiday in an enviable climate. Ideally situated for golf, with a large selection of golf courses. Good touring base, between coast and mountains. Marbella, Fuengirola and Malaga are within easy reach by bus, taxi, or hire car, all of which can be accessed a short walk away. For the energetic, Gibraltar is 100 Km away. Within reach of excellent safe beaches (e.g. at La Cala Mijas Costa, or Cabopino), great shopping - from designer boutiques and shopping malls to traditional markets. Basic fresh food can be purchased just a short walk away. Eating out ranges from local family restaurants to the sophisticated nightlife of the port of Puerto Banus.  Discounts for long stays. There is an internet cafe called TELECABIN S.L. (or TELE-CABINS, depending which sign you look at) at Los Jarales, Sitio de Calahonda (faces onto the N340 coast road), which is about 1Km away.
